why is this project important?

The SEE program assists eligible job seekers to participate more effectively in training or in the labour force.

The Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) program provides language, literacy and numeracy training to eligible job seekers to help them to participate more effectively in training or in the labour force. Registered training organisations deliver the SEE program, offering eligible job seekers up to 800 hours of free, accredited training. Delivery of the program occurs across the whole of Australia, from metropolitan and regional areas, right through to remote communities. In the 2016-17 financial year, the latest completed financial year, 36,563 job seekers were assisted in the SEE program.
