delivering on

why is this project important?

As the world’s largest program of its kind, 550,000 students from 1 in 5 Australian schools participate in Start Smart yearly.

Key steps to make it happen

In-depth research recommends that financial education starts as early as possible and is taught in schools.

We consulted with financial education experts and specialists in education, cognitive development and instructional design.

Both the Primary and Secondary programs are mapped to the school curricula in each State and territory.

Our national team of outstanding facilitators go into classrooms and deliver accessible, motivating and inspiring content.

The program is free and available to all schools across Australia.

We capture feedback from both students and teachers to ensure the content is relevant and has the intended long-term impact.
