Building Sustainable Business for Our Future
Project implemented: February 2018
The goal is to have business leaders and practitioners in WA engaging and inspiring the wider community of their efforts by sharing their experiences and best practices in SDGs. A great opportunity to network and connect with those who want to make a positive difference in the way businesses are operating.
Why is this important?
Given the latest report on the status of progress in Australia, there is a real need to catch up with other countries, such as Germany and New Zealand. In fact, countries in the region such as Indonesia and Malaysia are taking on an active role in putting SDGs into practice. It is hope that this series of forum could help kick-start the dialogues needed to happen in the business sector with leaderships at both state and federal levels.
