To support the University of Newcastle’s commitment to the UNPRME and inform future business leaders on the SDG Framework.
The youth of today are our leaders of tomorrow. We need as many leaders driving this framework into their respective organisations. Many organisations don’t know where to begin – these emerging leaders will know where.
As a signatory to the United Nation’s Principles for Responsible Management Education, the University of Newcastle has committed to drive the UN Sustainable Goal framework into it’s Faculty of Business and Law curriculum. In March this year I was invited by Richie Williams to present to a selection of business students on what the SDG framework is, its importance to global and local prosperity and the impact and influence it would have on their careers post graduation. Over the course of 3 months the students integrated the SDG framework into a number of businesses, including the SDG Compass.
